I recently got the interest in sharing my knowledge with peers in the SQL community, and one of many ways to do this, other than by blogging and helping out, is to give talks at various events.
I started out by talking at knowledge sharing meetings internally where I worked, gaining the experience before heading out to the community to give talks.
